In creating this website, I have realized how important having your information
ready and pre-typed helps. When editing, it is hard to decipher the information as you are typing it. Typing into Word
or Notepad helps in checking for errors and saving the document so that you can go back and evaluate your typing. Also, with
different loading times and internet traffic, it provides a safety net just in case the site is too busy or your computer
has a disconnect.
I like the idea of having a website on the internet for my students/parents/colleagues
to see to recieve more information and insight of my philosophy as a teacher and as an artist. Many of the teachers
at the school I teach at have not seen my artwork before, and this could be an outlet. Having your information ready
and accessible helps in creating a more approachable touch to my classroom.
In creating this website and taking the technology class, the opportunities
of expanding technology within my classroom has more than doubled in just creating a website, using Publisher, and transforming
my photography lesson into something more feasible and cost effective.
